That best shade of green in the world is the shade of something alive. They had this beauty for $20 at Home Depot, and I already had the pot for it to live in waiting in the garage (clearance from Lowes last year). I was planning on putting a little table there (on the stair landing) with our record player on top of it, but this plant needed to be in direct line of sight of the front door. I could gush and gush about how beautiful it is. One thing I've learned about myself this year is how much I enjoy having life around me. I was born to be a housewife.
