Christmas decorating

Luke 2:10-11 "And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great JOY, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.'"

We have so much to thank our Savior for, but let's not forget to begin with what matters. Thank Him for the gift of His Son. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Matt and I had just as much fun decorating our fake tree this year as we have with our real trees in the past. We got a candle that smells like an enchanted forest of Christmas trees to compensate for the smell. Our message is Joy. Joy even in a primed-but-not-painted living room and a porch with no ceiling, but a new roof. Joy. Joy to the world, the Lord has come.
